CARMEN SERRANO ( Soprano )
Born in Priego de Cordoba, studied singing in the Higher Conservatory of Music in Cordoba with Profesor Carlos Hacar.
Higher studies at the Academia d’Arte Lirico e Corale in Osimo (Italy) and a Spanish music course with Ana Higueras in Compostela.
Carried out since 1987 an important concert task, therefore performing in America, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and all parts of Spain.
In 1992 was her debut in opera with La Favorita in the Maestranza Theater of Seville along with Alferdo Kraus. Later on she sang Orfeo ed Euridice in Cordoba, Seville, Cremona, Brescia and Sassari; Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Pamplona; Doña Francisquita in Cordoba; L’Isola Disabitata in Milan, Cernobbio, Macerata and Florence; L’Elisir d’Amore in Novara, Pavia, Como and Cremona; La Morte di San Giuseppe in Milan, Cernobbio, Rozzano, La Valletta, El Djem, Menton and Bonn; Cosi fan Tutte in Pavia, Bergamo, Brescia, Como, Cremona, Treviso and Cosenza; L’Isola di Merlino in Milan, Como, Pavia, Varese and Florence; I Pagliacci in Rotterdam and Amberes; Luisa Fernanda in Cordoba; La Vida Breve in Schwerin (Germany); Katiuska in Cordoba; Cuando se ponga el Sol in Huelva, La Médium in Seville; La Bohem in Barcelona; Electra in Seville; La Bruja in Madrid and Oviedo and Goyescas in Madrid.
